SPLASHing around

Splash and I went for a  little swim! Most of the good pictures of the water aren't here because unbeknownst to me there was a smudge on my lens and I only realised this after I had taken them. Boo! Still there are a few pictures of Splash in the water! Enjoy!

Fun in the Park!

Fun times in the town park! We don't come here too often as it is usually quite crowded with kids and stray dogs. I like the quiet of the small park we visit daily to play ball and practice disc dogging.

Baby photos!

I thought I'd post some pictures of Splash as a baby while we're waiting for the rain to clear off and we can go and take some proper pictures!

This is Splash and his six other siblings when they were just two days old! Splash is second from the left!

This is Splashers as an eight week old puppy playing with his first tug rope!

 This is Splash the first day we brought him home last September

Bad pic, but I took this between my legs while I was sat at the table in the kitchen. He did this constantly as a puppy, falling asleep on my feet while I was sitting down!

And last but not least, this is one of my favourite pictures of Splashers! Look at those eyes Oh I do miss those puppy days! But I love how grown up my boy is!

Introductions!

Let me introduce this blog's namesake.......

SPLASH!

Splash is an 13 month old male blue merle Border Collie from working stock. He is my first border collie and first dog that is entirely mine. 

Splash is trained using only positive reinforcement and clicker training. No force is used when training obedience or tricks.

We're beginning Frisbee but are still complete novices, although Splash makes me look much better than I am

Don't be fooled by this innocent face though...

He's a cheeky little devil!
